Legislation to keep student names & phone numbers out of the military's hands

In the No Child Left Behind act there was a provision compelling schools to turn over the names and phone numbers of all students unless the student's family had specifically requested them not to. This is the opposite of the previous rule. There's a congressman proposing legislation to reverse this change in rules. There are also instructions for how to opt your child out.
