Monday was the Independence Day and my 27th birthday. Benjamin and I hosted our 4th annual party and had a wonderful turnout. It was a bit of work and went by fast, but we both felt extremely loved by all of the people who were able to come. I got several great presents (including an iPod Photo from Benjamin), but I think the best part was the presence of my friends and family. And of course people's non-gift contributions - like food, cleanup, dinnerware, etc. - were also very appreciated. It was Maple's big debut and the first time most people had seen the basement finished. Maple was very popular and got almost as many presents as I did. ;-)
