Supreme Court Justice O'Connor stepped down

Early this morning Sandra Day O'Connor stepped down from the Supreme Court, leaving the first open seat in more than 10 years. She is a moderate and has been a frequent swing vote. Rumor has it Bush may nominate someone to fill the post on Tuesday.
