Areas of ownership include the new Windows SideShow platform, mobile-optimized graphics themes, user experience guidelines, Media Center experience on touch and pen systems, and peer-to-peer networking. Extensive work with inductive user interface design.

Product designer, Tablet PC Group / 2002-2003
Work in partnership with an eight-person design team on Windows Vista for the Tablet PC. Areas of focus include software-hardware interaction, optimizing Windows for use with the pen as a pointing device, use of gestures to perform actions, and ink annotation of text documents and web pages.

Collaborate with usability, user assistance, industrial design, and project management on various projects including TV Photo Viewer, SideWinder Game Voice, and several conceptual projects. Primary user interface designer for the Broadband Networking product line released in Fall 2002. Design for various mediums including software, television onscreen navigation, and the Internet. Art direct multiple off-site vendors and manage one on-site product designer.
